NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists in the office of councillor for the said Parish.

If, within 14 days after the date of this notice, a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at East Cambridgeshire District Council by ten electors for the said Parish an election will be held to fill the vacancy; otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council.

All Witchford residents are invited to the Witchford Annual Parish Meeting on Wednesday 8th April at St Andrews Hall at 7pm. Village groups and organisations will be giving presentations on their achievements over the past year and refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
